Project +2 is an initiative of For A Change Trust to support every under-privileged girl studying in 12th standard & help her in fulfilling her dream of completing school education.
Project +2 was launched with the aim of providing higher secondary school education to underprivileged girls in India, along with the objective of impacting the nation's development by educating a girl.
We
have a strong belief that educated women would not only contribute to
the India’s economy but also issues of population and social evils like
the dowry system and child marriage will reduce if more women are
educated.
We believe that some of the benefits associated with girls' education include reduction of child and maternal mortality, improvement of child nutrition and health, lower fertility rates and improvement in economic production.
Why we support +2 education?
There are numerous government support programs for girls to finish their primary school education. With all these support programs, every girl somehow finish her primary & high school education. But due to various reasons, a girl drops out of school without completing her +2 education, thereby not completing her entire school education.
We believe that every girl has a Right to complete her entire School Education. That's the reason we want to support every girl studying in her 12th standard in all possible ways and help her finish her entire school education.
